  • The High Dam: Constructed in the 1960s and 70s, the High Dam transformed Egypt’s ability to manage water resources, providing hydroelectric power and irrigation benefits.
  • The Unfinished Obelisk: Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), this obelisk offers insights into the techniques of ancient Egyptian stone carving. It remains unfinished, providing a unique glimpse into ancient construction methods.
  • Philae Temple: Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this temple tells the tale of the "Myth of Osiris" and represents the last of ancient Egyptian architecture. It was relocated to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project to save it from flooding.

• Early Morning: After breakfast (provided in breakfast boxes), check out from the hotel and join your private guide for a visit to the renowned Abu Simbel Temples.
  • Abu Simbel Temples: Built by Pharaoh Ramses II in 1200 BC, these monumental structures honor the gods Amun, Ptah, and Re-Harakty. The temples are famous for the biannual Sun Festival, during which sunlight illuminates the inner sanctum. They also commemorate Ramses II’s victory at the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC.
• Return to Aswan: After your visit, return to Aswan for lunch.
• Travel to Luxor: Catch the train back to Luxor and then transfer by A.C vehicle back to your hotel in Hurghada, concluding your Aswan & Abu Simbel tour.
